Jeffrey Tweed

Jeffrey Tweed tattoos a butterfly inside his shop Tranquility Tattoo and Art Studio located in Shamokin Tuesday afternoon.

SHAMOKIN — Residents that share an appreciation for body art can recognize the artistry of Jeffrey Tweed. Over his 21-year tattoo career, his art remains in high demand with eager canvases booked out until March of 2023.

Tweed has come a long way from his beginnings apprenticing under Chris Yeager, of Blazing Angels. After a 16-year career with the tattoo shop, Tweed branched out and opened Tranquility Tattoo and Art Studio in Shamokin. His shop, like the name suggests, has a tranquil vibe with lots of natural light and hanging plants.
