One injured in Route 225 crash

One person was taken to a hospital following a one-vehicle accident on Route 225 in Zerbe Township, just west of Trevorton, early Tuesday. Damage at the scene suggests a pickup truck was traveling north on Route 225 when the vehicle crossed the opposing lane, struck an embankment and rolled at least once. The vehicle came to a rest on the driver’s side. The driver was confined to the vehicle. Firefighters cut the front windshield to free the man. No information was provided Tuesday by state police at Stonington, which is investigating.
