ELYSBURG — The Ralpho Township Public Library Bridge Club had one of it’s largest turnout in recent weeks. On July 9 there were 16 players competing with a Howell Movement. Partners were retained for the evening, moving to different tables and different directions. Winners for the evening were Dumitru Alupuli and Bob Reed with 21 points; second, John Ferguson and Molly Ambrosiino with 19 points; third, Cleon Dodge and Jean Olcese with 17.5 points; fourth, Dale and Ferne Krothe with 15 points; fifth, Bud Breech and Nance Shuman with 14.5 points; sixth, Jack Shuman and Georgette Smolak with 14 points; seventh, Alice and Peggy Holdren with 11.5 points; and eighth, Sue Pierce and Janet Bausch. with 7.5 points.

Members of the club are traveling to Williamsport for their regular Scranton game today. On July 24, there will be a lunch and bridge game at the Pine Barn Inn in memory of a deceased member of the club. Capping the month of July will be a dinner then bridge at the library on July 30. Play is every Tuesday at the Elysburg Public Library. Everyone is welcome and there are no fees. Partners are guaranteed.
