COAL TOWNSHIP — The Shamokin Bridge Club met Tuesday, Oct. 2 at the Shamokin-Coal Township-Trevorton Senior Action Center.

Director Glen Wayne announced the following resulted of the duplicate based game.

First was Arlene Andrews with a score of 20 and a half followed by Glen Wayne whose score was 15 and a half.

A tied score of 14 and a half belonged to Jane Sheaffer and Dave McCormick.

There was another tied score in this close game of 13 and a half by Virginia Ruhl and Mina McCormick.

Charlie Wayne was next with a score of 12 and a half followed by Diane McKinley.

A birthday celebration was held for Charlie Wayne and Dave McCormick.

A chocolate mousse cake and a coconut cake were provided by Virginia Ruhl.

Free lessons can be provided to anyone willing to join the group each Tuesday afternoon.
