HARRISBURG — Acting Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner Robert Evanchick announced Friday that 99 cadets graduated from the State Police Academy in Hershey and have been assigned to troops across the commonwealth.

The men and women represent the 153rd graduating cadet class.

The ceremony at Bishop McDevitt High School marked the culmination of 27 weeks of classroom and physical training. Cadet Nicholas Manganiello, of Luzerne County, spoke on behalf of the graduating class.

Graduates from the area include Aaron Adams, of Northumberland County; Matthew Dillon, of Union County; Derek R. Hill, of Schuylkill County; Trent W. Karaman, of Columbia County; Kody M. Rittenbaugh, of Schuylkill County, and Michael Tomko, of Schuylkill County.
