SHAMOKIN — A Shamokin man was in critical condition at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville after being stabbed twice in the right forearm with a steak knife by his girlfriend Thursday afternoon at Independence and Rock streets, according to city police.

Armani C. Perkins, 22, of 128 S. Market St., Shamokin, was charged by Patrolman William Zalinski with a felony of aggravated assault and misdemeanors of simple assault and recklessly endangering another person for allegedly stabbing her 24-year-old boyfriend, Jameel Fagan.
