DANVILLE — Protestors carried the American flag and an assortment of signs reading “My body, my choice” and ”I’m not a lab rat” as they marched together in protest to Geisinger Medical Center, in Danville.

The protest began at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Weis parking lot, where protesters marched to the intersection of Bloom Road and North Academy Avenue, the entranceway to the hospital. By word of mouth, more than 100 demonstrators gathered at the intersection. The protesters were comprised of both present and former Geisinger and Evangelical Community Hospital employees who stood alongside members of the community.
