FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP — After originally deadlocking on a budget, then passing it on a 6-2 vote later to be determined as void due to a technicality, the Southern Columbia Area school board once again deadlocked 4-4 on a vote to pass a $22.7 million budget Thursday, leaving employees with concerns about receiving paychecks.

Board members Greg Klebon, Brianna Maciejewski, Josh Maciejewski and Drew Hampton voted no, while board members Mike Yeager, John Yocum, Bob Lunger and Tim Vought voted yes. Board member Brenda Creasy was absent.
