MOUNT CARMEL — Fifteen charges have been filed against a Schuylkill Haven man whose vehicle struck a police car during a high-speed chase Friday night that began in Mount Carmel after a drug transaction and culminated in Ashland when the driver ran out of gas.

Casian Jackson-Flowers, 20, of 423 E. Main St., Unit 2, is charged by Patrolmen Kyle Schauer and Jonathan McHugh with felonies of delivering 4.2 grams of methamphetamine, possessing with intent to deliver methamphetamine, criminal use of a communication facility, fleeing or attempting to elude police, flight to avoid apprehension and aggravated assault, misdemeanors of simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, possessing methamphetamine, possessing drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest, and summaries of reckless driving, careless driving, failing to drive in a single lane and driving at an unsafe speed.
