US Army National Guard’s Knockerball a hit at SCA

Southern Columbia Area High School students in Claire Campbell’s gym class on Monday had the opportunity to play “knockerball” where they each donned a giant, inflatable ball and spent the period running into one another and bouncing around the school’s gym. They nominally were to play a game of soccer while wearing the inflatables, but each class devolved into a free for all. The activity was brought to the school by Staff Sgt. Steve Meisner and Sgt. Leslie Morris of the U.S. Army National Guard, Danville. The National Guard brings several activities to Southern Columbia Area a school year including a rock wall and later this spring a rope course.
