SHAMOKIN — A 37-year-old Shamokin woman is incarcerated after being charged with punching a city police officer in the face several times and concealing the whereabouts of her 2-year-old daughter Wednesday afternoon.

Jessica L. Straub, of 58 Raspberry Hill, was arraigned at 9:30 a.m. Thursday by Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III on felonies of aggravated assault, concealing the whereabouts of a child and interfering with the custody of children, and misdemeanors of endangering the welfare of a child and resisting arrest.
