COAL TOWNSHIP — A 14-year-old male student at Shamokin Area Middle/High School has been charged with stabbing another male student on the hand with an X-acto knife blade and threatening two female students while in possession of the blade on Jan. 30.

Patrolman Chris Lapotsky filed misdemeanors of simple assault and disorderly conduct against the Coal Township teen with Northumberland County Juvenile Court Services.
