MOUNT CARMEL TOWNSHIP — Mount Carmel Township Police Department will hold a press event tomorrow to announce child safety seat and seat belt enforcement activities as part of a statewide enforcement mobilization, Sept. 16 through 29 at various times to help prevent and reduce child injuries and fatalities by promoting the use of age-and size-appropriate restraints. The mobilization corresponds with the National Child Passenger Safety Week, Sept. 23 through 29 and National Seat Check Saturday, Sept. 29.

The seat belt enforcement activities will be conducted Sept. 16 through Sept. 29 at the entrance to the Mount Carmel Area Elementary School or on Locust Gap Highway, West Fifth Street and other locations in Mount Carmel Township.
