MOUNT CARMEL — Three defendants entered guilty pleas Wednesday and were ordered by Magisterial District William C. Cole to pay fines and costs. They are:
•Jared Francis Pollack, 26, 613 Scott St., Kulpmont, pleaded guilty to one count of disorderly conduct and was ordered to pay a $500 fine plus costs and placed on one year probation. Charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct were withdrawn.
Pollack was accused of participating in a physical disturbance on Jan. 16 at his residence in Kulpmont.
He also pleaded guilty to manufacturing a controlled substance and was ordered to pay a $500 fine plus costs and placed on probation for one year. A charge of disorderly conduct was withdrawn.
Pollack was charged by Patrolman Jonathan McHugh for a Feb. 22 incident in which he was found with Suboxone in his possession in Kulpmont.
•Miki Lynn Campbell, 38, of 226 W. Walnut St., Shamokin, pleaded guilty to one count of simple assault and was ordered to pay a $500 fine plus costs and placed on probation for one year. Charges of harassment and disorderly conduct were withdrawn.
Campbell was charged by Patrolman Kyle R. Schauer for a March 24 incident in which he said Campbell struck her girlfriend, Laura Duceman, several times in the face with a fist and then fled the area.
•Amber Marie Malantonio, 33, of 337 E. Center St., Mount Carmel, pleaded guilty to one count of neglect of animals and was placed on probation for one year and ordered to pay a $500 fine plus costs as well as restitution to Mommy & Me Rescue in the amount of $1,629.94. A charge of cruelty to animals was withdrawn.
Charges were filed by Patrolman William Adamski in relation to a March 2 incident in which an extremely neglected and dehydrated dog was located in the basement of Malantonio’s residence.
