Disorderly conduct

SHAMOKIN — Andrew W. Britton II, 35, of 405 N. Shamokin St., Shamokin, was cited by Chief of Police Darwin Tobias III for disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and possessing an open container of beer relating to an incident at 3:32 p.m. July 26 in the first block of North Rock Street.

Police reported Britton urinated in front of bystanders.

Forgery

WHITE DEER TOWNSHIP — Nikita Bastian, 25, of Sunbury, was charged by state police at Milton with forgery and related offenses in connection with an incident at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 1 at the Quality Inn.

Police reported Bastian is accused of altering a check from $77.99 to $177.99 and cashing it at Walmart in Selinsgrove.

Bastian was arraigned on the charges Tuesday and released in lieu of $25,000 unsecured bail.

Teen escapes injury

VALLEY TOWNSHIP — A 17-year-old Mount Carmel female was among three people to escape injury in a three-vehicle accident Aug. 10 at Route 54 (Continental Boulevard) and Route 642.

State police at Milton reported the Mount Carmel juvenile was driving a 2010 Chrysler 300 north in the right lane of Route 54 at 11:47 a.m. when she began to change lanes.

Police said the driver’s side of the teen’s vehicle struck the passenger side of a 2016 Chrysler Town and Country van operated by Jennifer L. Sarviss, 34, of Danville, who was in the left passing lane of Route 54. The front end of the Chrysler 300 then struck the rear of a 2012 Ford F-350 truck driven by Christian D. Force, 31, of Danville, who was stopped in the left turn lane of Route 54 waiting to turn onto Route 642.

All three vehicles came to rest in the travel and turning lanes of Route 54 facing north.

Sarviss suffered a minor injury. The Mount Carmel juvenile, Force and a 15-year-old male passenger from Danville in Sarviss’ van escaped injury.

The teen was cited for failing to drive in a single lane.

Disorderly conduct

TREVORTON — Robert Deeter, 31, of Trevorton, was cited by state police at Stonington for disorderly conduct relating to a disturbance shortly after 8 p.m. Monday at 209 W. Market St.

Police said Kaitlyn Hollenbach, 23, of Sunbury, was the victim in the incident.
