Your kidding me a guy finds him self to drunk to drive so he sleeps it off in his car gets charged with a DUI. But a truck driver takes out the traffic lights sober as most judges are but does not get charged with destruction of property or anything else. These things don’t make any sense in Shamokin. From my understanding the only difference here is one is a guy and one is a female. There has to be an end to the stupidness in our town. If you have a person who realizes there to impaired to drive and they sleep it off in there car they used more common sense to to take the chance of injuring someone or something. Then the sober person that was not watching there rear tandems run over a massive traffic signal. The tractor trailer driver show much less control of there automobile then the drunk person. Did the police take the truck driver for a blood test? It’s common practice for a trucking company to send a driver for a drug test after any accident. There had to be some kind of impairment if a commercial truck driver did not notice this giant pole prior to running it over.
