SHAMOKIN — Nathan Jones, 52, of 415 W. Pine St., Shamokin, was cited by Patrolman Shane Mowery for harassment relating to an incident at 11:08 p.m. Aug. 15 in the first block of North Market Street.

Police said James Tracy was the victim.

Underage drinking

SHAMOKIN — Shaneika Wilson, 18, of 109 S. Market St., Shamokin, was cited by Cpl. Bryan Primerano for underage drinking in connection with an incident at 9:07 p.m. Friday at her apartment.

Dogs at large

SHAMOKIN — Christina L. White, 42, of 402 W. Gowen St., Shamokin, was cited by Patrolman Scott Weaver for allowing her dogs to run in people’s yards and on the street at 7:40 p.m. Saturday in the area of Fifth and Pine streets.

Disorderly conduct

SHAMOKIN — Jessica M. Day, 24, of 350 S. Vine St., Mount Carmel, and Elizabeth Hall, 21, of 404 N. Shamokin St., Shamokin, were cited by Patrolman Raymond Siko II for disorderly conduct and harassment relating to a fight at 4:23 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of North Shamokin Street.

Disorderly conduct

SHAMOKIN — Patrolman Scott Weaver cited Michael Gilligbauer, 26, of 409 N. Rock St., Shamokin, for disorderly conduct for allegedly using obscene language at 5:40 p.m. Tuesday at his residence while people were walking by or on their porches.

Police said Gilligbauer was warned to stop using the offensive language before being cited.

Retail theft

SHAMOKIN — Dennis Chandler, 51, of 2 N. Vine St., Shamokin, was cited by Patrolman Scott Weaver for retail theft for allegedly stealing items from Dollar General at 1:38 p.m. July 19.

Weigh Scales crash

WEIGH SCALES — No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday on Route 61 near the Wayside Inn.

Ralpho Township police reported Charles R. Gordner, 58, of Bloomsburg, was driving a 2014 Chevy Silverado truck on Bridge Street at 5:46 p.m. when he attempted to enter Route 61 northbound and pulled into the path of a 2012 Ford F-150 truck driven south on Route 61 by John Stehr, 66, of Shamokin.

Both trucks were towed from the scene.

Assisting Ralpho Township police were Coal Township police and firefighters from Ralpho Fire Company in Overlook and Ralpho Township fire police.

False identification

SHAMOKIN — Sarah Bruggner, 36, of 510 N. Eighth St., Apt. 6, Shamokin, was charged by Cpl. Bryan Primerano with providing false identification to police and harassment involving an incident at her residence at 4:35 a.m. Wednesday.

Bruggner is accused of injuring her girlfriend, Yvonne Carter, during an altercation and providing police with a false date of birth.

Bad check

SHAMOKIN — Chief of Police Darwin Tobias III charged Allan Xavier Quinn, 28, of 358 Market St., Apt. C, Sunbury, with issuing a bad check in the amount of $780 to Independence Street Service Inc. on March 1.

DUI

SHAMOKIN — Paul T. Gurba III, 23, of 1213 W. Fern St., Coal Township, was charged by Patrolman Raymond Siko II with five counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance and one count of careless driving.

The charges relate to an incident at 6:35 p.m. July 30 in which Gurba’s disabled vehicle was found in the middle of the 100 block of East Sunbury Street with its passenger side front tire off.

Police said Gurba had a blood-alcohol content of .252 percent and also had marijuana in his blood system.

DUI

SHAMOKIN — Patrolman Shane Mowery charged Jayde Deitrick, 28, of 220 W. Sunbury St., Shamokin, with two counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and stopping her vehicle in the middle of the northbound lane in the 200 block of North Shamokin Street on Aug. 6.

Police said Deitrick, who was found slumped over the steering wheel with the vehicle running, had Alprazolam, Oxycodone and Fetanyl in her blood system. She also was found in possession of four empty wax paper bags stamped “Head Trauma.”

Criminal trespass

SHAMOKIN — Patrolman Raymond Siko II charged Kenneth M. Trout, 27, of 122 N. Poplar St., Coal Township, with criminal trespass and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to a criminal complaint filed at the office of Magisterial District Judge John Gembic III, Danny McNamee, of Media, who owns a home at 156 N. Eighth St., found Trout inside his home at 12:20 p.m. Aug. 12 when he went there to retrieve some items.

McNamee, who doesn’t know Trout, said the back door of the home had been kicked in. McNamee told police Trout exited the home and ran down the street. Trout was taken into custody by Siko a short time later on Church Street.

DUI

SHAMOKIN — Thomas Reed, 25, of 915 N. Rock St., Shamokin, was charged by Cpl. Bryan Primerano with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol involving a one-vehicle accident at 2:52 a.m. July 28 at Route 61 and Mount Carmel Street in which Reed’s vehicle crashed over an embankment.

Police said Reed had a blood-alcohol content of .148 percent.

Drug offenses

SHAMOKIN — Thomas Schnee, 27, of 623 W. Shamokin St., Trevorton, was charged by Patrolman Raymond Siko II with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of driving under the influence of drugs and careless driving.

Police said the charges relate to a July 4 incident on Independence Street near Ninth Street.

Police reported Schnee had morphine, Fetanyl and Nor Fetanyl in his blood system.
