SHAMOKIN — Brittany Gunn, 20, of 35 N. Rock St., Shamokin, was charged by Patrolman Joshua Pastucka with criminal conspiracy. According to police, on July 17 Gunn, along with co-defendants Andrew Hall, Brandon Palmer and a 16-year-old juvenile, conspired to break into 34 N. Rock St. and steal a refrigerator and basement key while the defendant acted as a lookout.
SHAMOKIN — Andrew Michael Hall, 27, of 35 N. Rock St., Shamokin, was charged by Patrolman Joshua Pastucka with one count each of burglary, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and criminal conspiracy for his alleged involvement in a July 17 break-in at 34 N. Rock St. His accomplices, Brandon Palmer, Brittany Gunn and a 16-year-old juvenile were also charged for their involvement in the alleged crime.
SHAMOKIN — Chelsea Leigh Troutman, 24, of 1026 Chestnut St., Kulpmont, was charged by Patrolman Brandon Cohick with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia related an incident on Friday.
Cohick pulled Troutman over near Liberty and Commerce Streets on an active warrant. She gave permission to search her vehicle and belongings. Cohick reported locating drug paraphernalia, heroin and methamphetamine. Troutman was told to turn herself in at the sheriff’s office the following day.
SHAMOKIN — Ashley Marie Knopp, 29, of 229 W. Seventh St., Mount Carmel, was charged by Patrolman Raymond Siko II with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and operating a vehicle without inspection.
Siko reported pulling Knopp over on July 31 for an expired inspection sticker. Her two passengers, Chad Keefer and Dustin Keefer, were removed from the vehicle and placed into custody. Knopp allowed for a search of her vehicle and beneath the driver’s seat, Siko reported finding a tool kit with a compartment lined with tinfoil containing numerous drug paraphernalia and three wax wrappers containing heroin.
Possession and disorderly conduct
SHAMOKIN — Daniel Clayton Carl, 28, of 131 Iron St., Coal Township, was charged by Patrolman Raymond Siko II with possession of a controlled substance, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness related to an Aug. 3 incident.
Siko responded to a reported overdose in the stairwell over 320 Cleaver St. They located a male matching the description provided walking in the area of Orange and Commerce streets. He was identified as Carl and he willingly turned over a baggie of spice to Siko.
KULPMONT — Ted Pennypacker, 56, of 1201 Scott St., was cited with defiant trespass by Patrolman Stephen Mazzeo after Pennypacker was found in his residence after it had been posted as unfit for human habitation on Aug. 9.
