Two-vehicle accident

LIMESTONE TOWNSHIP — Trooper Mark Reasner, state police at Milton, cited Janice Yost, 56, of Shamokin, for failure to stop at a stop sign after a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 104 and Red Ridge Road in this Union County township at 1:56 p.m. Sunday.

Police said Yost failed to stop her 2011 Nissan Rogue and was subsequently hit by a 1994 Fleetwood Flair driven by Raymond Kratzer, 57, of Middleburg. A passenger in Kratzer’s vehicle, Janice Fisher, 52, also of Middleburg, sustained a suspected minor injury. All three were wearing their seat belts, police said.

Criminal mischief

COAL TOWNSHIP — Coal Township police Patrolman Jason Adams reported that sometime between June 17 and 30, several windows of a garage along South Fifth Street were broken. Anyone with information is asked to call the police department at 570-644-0333.
