Endangering a child

COAL TOWNSHIP — Detective Matthew Hashuga announced Monday in a news release that Zachary Campbell, 25, of 820 Center St., Coal Township, will be charged with a felony of endangering the welfare of children and a misdemeanor of corruption of minors. Hashuga accused Campbell of intentionally blowing marijuana smoke into the face of his 5-year-old son on or about Oct. 2. The child was taken to the emergency room at Geisinger-Shamokin Area Community Hospital for a toxicology screen, which was positive for cannabinoids.
