MOUNT CARMEL — Amelia Rose Zigner, 5, of Mount Carmel, passed away at 11:57 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021, in Geisinger Medical Center, in Danville.

Amelia was born at 9:52 a.m. July 27, 2016, in Geisinger Medical Center, a daughter of Samantha Nevick and Richard Zigner, of Mount Carmel.

She is survived by her parents and eight siblings, Richie, Tyler, Felicia and Logan Zigner, all of Shamokin, and Colin, Riley, Aiden and Savannah, all of Mount Carmel.

Amelia was the most amazing, caring, lovable, beautiful and smart little girl.

She loved to dance and sing, do arts and crafts, play with her brothers and sisters and go to school.

She was our little fashonista and rocked her JoJo bows like nobody’s business.

Amelia was full of life and was the most energetic, silly and little girl who could make your whole day brighter with her amazing personality and beautiful smile.

She will forever be in our hearts.

Rest in peace our beautiful angel, our baby girl, our Mel Mel.

Amelia’s family thanks the staff at Geisinger Medical Center, in Danville, for doing everything they could to save her. They also thank friends, family members and the community for their prayers and support during this difficult time.

Funeral arrangements are still being made at this time.
