MOUNT CARMEL — Andrea D. Burchette, 52 of 551 E. Second St., passed away Friday, Nov. 19, 2021, at Geisinger Medical Center, in Danville.

She was born in San Luis Obispo, California, June 5,1969, a daughter of Dennis and Diana (Baron) Peton, who survive.

She was a 1988 graduate of Tecumseh High School, in Oklahoma.

Andrea was married Sept. 19, 2008, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, to Jared Burchette, who survives.

Andrea was an accomplished musician. She loved to sing. Her famous quote was “music was medicine for the soul.”

Surviving, in addition to her husband and parents, are a son, Ashton Burchette; a sister, Katy Miller and her daughter, Miah, of Redding, California; a brother, D.J. Peton and his wife, Kristi, of Oklahoma; and nieces and nephews.
