ARISTES — Carol Lee Hornberger, 76, of 331 Columbia Ave., passed away Monday, April 5, 2021, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born in Shamokin State General Hospital, Jan. 25, 1945, a daughter of the late George and Enid (Quirk) Donkochik.

Carol attended Mount Carmel schools.

On June 17, 1972, in St. Mary’s Church, in Marion Heights, she married Paul G. Hornberger who survives.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by o son, Paul Hornberger, of Mount Carmel; a daughter, Lisa Hornberger, of Mountain Top; three grandchildren, Emily and Michael Padula, of Kulpmont, and Ben Hornberger, of Mount Carmel; two brothers, Robert Donkochik and his wife, Roseann, of Kulpmont and George Donkochik and his wife, Rita, of Shamokin; a sister, Dorothy Koshinski and her husband, Gary, of Shamokin; two sisters-in-law, Jean Cordell and Rita Hornberger; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Barry and Edward Donkochik; and a sister-in-law, Mary Gilbert.

HORNBERGER — Carol Lee Hornberger 76, of 331 Columbia Ave., Aristes. Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at Zion United Methodist Cemetery, Aristes. Joseph J. Stutz Inc. Funeral Home, 40 S. Market St., Mount Carmel, Joseph J.
