MARION HEIGHTS — David J. Shulski, 74, of Marion Heights, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at Geisinger Medical Center, in Danville.

He was born in Coal Township, Aug. 14, 1946, a son of the late Leonard and Clair (Beachum) Shulski.

He graduated from Roxboro High School, in Philadelphia.

David was a U.S. Army veteran.

David was a Philadelphia police officer for 24 years, later working for the Bureau of Enforcement and Investigation until his retirement.

He was a member and past president of the Mount Carmel Lion’s club and Eagles social club, both of Mount Carmel.

He was an avid painter and enjoyed cooking. A licensed pilot, he enjoyed flying.

Surviving are a son, Christopher Shulski, of Reading; his companion for many years, Terry James, of Marion Heights; a sister, Joanne Ford and her husband, William, of Wilburton; and four grandchildren.
