TREVORTON — Dorothy L. Schleig, 86, of Trevorton, passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019, at the Sunbury Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Trevorton, April 9, 1932, a daughter of the late Lee and Susan (Swinehart) Walborn.

She was employed for more than 40 years at the Arrow and Anthracite shirt factories.

She was a member of the Trevorton United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Rebekah Lodge and the Auxiliary of the Trevorton American Legion. She was a former May Queen in Trevorton.

She is survived by four sisters, Anna Newquist, of Shamokin Dam, Margaret Banning, of Trevorton, Mary Reeder, of Shamokin Dam, and Florence Lenker, of Herndon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Schleig; two sisters, Arline Schleig and Eva Troutman; and a brother, Ralph Walborn.

SCHLEIG — Dorothy L. Schleig, 85, of Trevorton. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury, followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the United Lutheran Cemetery, Wolfe’s Crossroads.
