ELYSBURG — Elizabeth A. (Wasilewski) Kandrot, 87, of 11 Circle View Drive, passed away Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, at Geisinger Medical Center, in Danville.

She was born in Kulpmont, March 14, 1934, a daughter of Joseph and Ann (Gudojtis) Wasilewski.

Elizabeth was a graduate of Kulpmont High School.

On Aug. 25, 1956, she married Albert F. Kandrot Sr., who survives. Together they shared 65 years of marriage.

She was a member of Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church, in Elysburg.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Albert F. Kandrot Sr., of Elysburg; two sons, Albert F. Kandrot Jr. and his wife, Loretta, of Connecticut, and Joseph F. Kandrot and his wife, Amy, of Maine; a daughter, Linda Walters and her husband, Ray, of Illinois; two grandsons, twins, Matthew Kandrot and his wife, Shannon, of Florida, and John Kandrot, of Connecticut; a granddaughter, Rachel Walters, of Illinois; a great-granddaughter, Madeleine Kandrot; a brother, Vincent Wasilewski and his wife, Cynthia, of Kulpmont; a sister, Mary Concitis and her husband, Edward, of New Jersey; a sister-in-law, Joan Wasilewski; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Alexander and Mary Kandrot; two brothers, Joseph Wasilewski and Jack Wasilewski; three sisters, Helen Rydell and her husband, John, Anne Polk and her husband, Theodore, and Patricia Mensch and her husband, Kermit; five brothers-in-law; and six sisters-in-law.

KANDROT — Elizabeth A. (Wasilewski) Kandrot, 87, of 11 Circle View Drive, Elysburg. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday with Father Joseph Scanlin as celebrant at Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church, 599 W. Center St., Elysburg. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg. A viewing will be held prior to the Mass from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the C.J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 1053 Chestnut St., Kulpmont, Malcolm C.
