MOUNT CARMEL — Ellen L. (Lutz) Albert, 86, of 206 W. Second St., passed away Friday, Feb. 19, 2021, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born in Williamstown, May 23, 1934, a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Zembo) Lutz.

Ellen was a 1952 graduate of Williamstown High School.

On March 24, 1956, in Harrisburg, she married Thomas Albert, who preceded her in death in 2014.

She worked as an accountant for a funeral home.

Ellen was a member of Divine Redeemer Church.

Ellen is survived by two daughters, Rose Mary Pekera and her husband, Richard, of Mount Carmel, and Patricia Miller and her husband, Robert, of Helfenstein; three sons, Michael Albert and his wife, Rita, of Coal Township, Thomas Albert and his wife, Barbara, of Coal Township, and Mark Albert, of Delaware; five granddaughters, Jyl Pekera, Michelle Shutt and her husband, Jared, Megan Miller, Holly Albert and Ashley Sok and her husband, Daniel; five grandsons, Kyle Pekera, Luke Miller, Mark Albert Jr. and his wife, Alyssa, Ryan Albert and his significant other, Casey, and Nicholas Albert and his wife, Ally; five great-granddaughters, Madison Pekera, Rylie Pekera, Esme Sok, Rylan Albert and Quinn Albert; two great-grandsons, Jack Coaker and Jasper Sok; a sister, Mary Jane Koppenhaver; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ellen was preceded in death by her husband, parents and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

ALBERT — Ellen L. (Lutz) Albert, 86, of 206 W. Second St., Mount Carmel. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at Divine Redeemer Church, 300 W. Avenue, Mount Carmel, with the Rev. Ryan Fischer as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Mount Carmel Township. Viewing will be held prior to the service from 9 to 10:45 a.m. with transferal prayers at 10 a.m. at the C. J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N. Vine St., Mount Carmel, C. J. Lucas IV, supervisor.
