COAL TOWNSHIP — Frank E. Erlston Jr., 63, of Coal Township, passed away peacefully Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021, at home surrounded by his closest and loving family.

He was born May 26, 1958, in Danville, a son of the late Frank and Lois (Weikel) Erlston Sr. He graduated from Danville and served in the U.S. Army. He was employed at Alumo Products Co., Mount Carmel, for many years until its closure.

He is survived by his sisters Cindy Yeager, of Coal Township, Brenda Erlston, of Harrisburg, and Ellie May Erlston-Phillips, of Danville; and brothers Robert (Moose) Erlston, of Danville, and Ralph Erlston, of Florida; his two closest nieces, Brenda and Robert Bland, of Coal Township, and Jessica Yeager and Charles Derr Jr., of Mount Carmel; his great nephews and nieces, Tommy and Laura Nairns, Brianna and Emilee Bland, Michael Deitz III, Kristen and Sara Deitz and Charlene Yeager; along with lots more nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, Frank and Lois (Weikel) Erlston Sr.; his sister, Deb Erlston; brother in-law, Ralph Yeager Sr.; and nephew Ralph Yeager Jr.
