MOUNT CARMEL — Jerome R. Witkoski, 74, of 122 E. Fourth St., passed away Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021, at Grandview Health Home in Danville. Jerome was raised in Kulpmont.

He was born in Shamokin, Jan. 7, 1947, a son of the late Barney and Eleanor (Kalinowski) Witkoski.

He attended Kulpmont High School.

He served in the U.S. Army and fought in Vietnam.

He worked in construction on the pipeline.

Jerome was a life member of the VFW, Kulpmont, American Legion, Kulpmont, and the Brady Fire Co.

Jerome is survived by a son, Robert Witkoski, of Sunbury; a daughter, Jennifer Howal and her husband, John, of Coal Township; a stepdaughter, Michelle; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Eleanor DiRienzo; and his companion, Alexis.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
