WILBURTON — Marie L. Kraftchak, 92, of 648 Second Ave., passed away Friday, Oct. 8, 2021.

She was born in Mount Carmel, Jan. 31,1929, a daughter of the late Henry B. and Margaret (Berzinski) Angeli.

She was a 1948 graduate of Mount Carmel High School.

Marie was married July 22,1950, in Reading, to Lamar H. Kraftchak, who preceded her in death in 1993.

She had been employed at the former Woolworth’s, JC Penny and Langis’s Candy Shop, all of Mount Carmel.

Marie was of the Lutheran faith. She also belonged to the Wilburton Senior Center.

In her younger years, Marie enjoyed rollerskating. Throughout her life, she was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles.

Surviving are her daughter, Lisa Kraftchak-Kirstein; and five grandchildren, Ashley Gonzales, Zarhary Kirstein, Madison Kirstein, Samuel Kirstein and Oliver Kirstein.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Anthony Kirstein; and three brothers, Henry, Glenn and David Angeli.

KRAFTCHAK — Marie L. Kraftchak, 92, of 648 Second Ave., Wilburton. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 S. Market St., Mount Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz III, supervisor. There will be no service. Interment will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Mount Carmel Township.
