PAXINOS — Sean R. Beers, 34, of 138 Juniper Road, passed away Wednesday, Sept.15, 2021.

He was born Sept. 12, 1987, at Geisinger Medical Center, in Danville, a son of Howard C. Beers Jr., of Danville, and Sherry (Martin) Beers, of Paxinos.

He attended Shamokin Area schools and then homeschooled and graduated.

He started working while he was young as a newspaper carrier for The News-Item and also worked at Elysburg Gun Club, Knoebels, Toy Factory, Masser’s Chicken Shack, Great Dane and Strong Pools.

Sean enjoyed being with his brothers and sisters, hunting, collecting rocks, watching football and most of all spending time with his children who meant the world to him.

In addition to his parents, Sean is survived by his three children, Sean Jr., Gaige, Mia and stepdaughter, Lexi; two brothers, Ryan Beers and his son, Colton, of Elysburg, and Jason Beers and his wife, Roxanne, of Mount Carmel; five sisters, Rhonda Rush and her husband, Jon, and their children, Catherine, Dale and Parker, of Millersburg, Juliann Brown and her husband, Arvel, and their children, Natalia and Nathan, of Selinsgrove, Andrea Beers and her children, Skyler, Tristen and Everleigh, of Shamokin, Kayla Hoffman and her husband, Luke, and their children, Ruth, Bethany and Uriah, of Richfield, and Katera Reiff and her husband, Shawn, and their children, Carter and Bailey, of Mifflinburg; and his grandmother, Donna Beers, of Milton.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Beers; grandparents, Howard Sr. and Shirley Beers, John W. Martin and Catherine Martin; and his uncle, Dale Martin.

BEERS — Sean R. Beers, 34, of 138 Juniper Road, Paxinos. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at Stonington Baptist Church, Stonington, where the funeral will follow at noon. Interment will be in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make donations to the family to help defray funeral costs.
