Having worked in a newsroom for 10 years now, I think I’ve been able to get a pretty solid handle on how people perceive journalism in modern times.

It goes without saying that the trade is much less respected than it was 20 — or especially 40 — years ago. I have fond memories growing up of my father, who spent his entire life in the newspaper industry, receiving the utmost respect from community members while he made daily rounds throughout the area.

Please do not equate CNN and NBC with Fox. Fox is not, not, not news. It’s opinions and editorial. Highly biased. With sprinkles of facts to try and get the unsuspecting to take it for news. It’s not. It’s rot.

Agree 100%!! False equivalency at its best.
