To the editor: Add to the mill three additional projects that have been completed: The Powell Building is demolished. The site prep work is done for the new basketball court/ice skating rink and the remediation of some of the water pooling and ADA issues have been addressed at Fir Street.

The Powell Building demolition was $78,000. The cost to borough citizens? Zero. The value of the work at the basketball/ice skating rink will be approximately $55,000 and the work at Fir Street has an estimated value of $12,000. Borough resources were used on the basketball courts and Fir Street water/ADA remediation. Borough citizens’ tax money in the amount of $3,750 in total was used. Out-of-pocket spending was $3,750 and received in value was approximately $145,000. Again, $3,750 was spent out of pocket and we got the Powell demolition, basketball court/ice skating rink and got rid of a mosquito pool at Fir Street.

Mr. Lutz is spot on with facts and figures. Don't be a sour-puss because you got voted out by the people.

[rolleyes]Lutz is a pretty good fiction writer, but not so good with facts and figures...…..
