I’m writing this letter on behalf of the former greeters at your Coal Township Walmart — Agnes, Carol, Dorothy, Jeannie, Kathy, Kathy, Leo and Rose Ann.
As of April 26, our job was eliminated. We were replaced by Hosts, which none of us were qualified for or chose to do.
We would like to say “so long” to all of you we have come to know. We didn’t always know your names but we knew your faces. We enjoyed your company and will not forget you and the good times we shared.
The last several months, we were required to check receipts. We’re sorry for the inconvenience we caused you, but it was part of our job. Most people accepted this and were polite about it. Some weren’t! This part of our job we choose to forget.
Again, thanks for the memories.
