To the editor: The Christmas carol, “I’ll be Home for Christmas,” was written in 1943 as the United States prepared for a third Christmas at war. This heart rendering carol expressed the deepest yearnings of our soldiers to be home and be together with family and loved ones.

More recently, the human race in the midst of spiritual warfare discovered that the Evil One, who hates when people come together to do charitable works to share their love in families and to come together to worship God, set off a “Dispersion Bomb.”
