To the editor: Truth is most often used to mean being in accord with fact or reality. Trump supporters now tell us that the truth is not the same for everyone. We tend to believe anything that re-enforces our political point of view. It does not matter whether the information is true or not.

Trump’s legions are willing to believe anything they wish no matter how much it distorts reality. Prime examples are the refusal to accept the results of the presidential election and the role that Trump played in the insurrection on Jan 6.
