What law next?

When elected officials choose to ignore laws that they don’t agree with and get away with it, no matter how sound their reasoning or excuse, then society will start to decay. I’m truly sorry, but if the law states the councilman cannot hold office as a convicted felon, and he ignores it, then I wonder which law he will choose to ignore that doesn’t suit him as a councilman. Part of his oath is to uphold the laws of this state, which he is breaking each time he takes a seat at the council. I am a lifelong Republican.
