‘If true’

MSNBC lied to their audience for 2 1/2 years about Russia. Now Lawrence O’Donnell lied about a loan given to President Trump and supposed signed by Russian oligarchs. He didn’t investigate the story, he went with it anyway, and said, “If true.” I can’t see your paper going with a front-page story with a disclaimer, “If true.” He wished it was true, just like Dan Rather. His new nickname should be “If true-Lawrence.”
