Did you know that a billion dollars in the previous stimulus bills is not even spent yet? Now the Democrats and President Biden want to spend another $1.9 trillion in stimulus. The IMF chief economist warned the Biden administration that this spending could cause the economy “overheating,” which is essentially inflation, or less purchasing power for our money. Why not use that billion dollars and get money to restaurants and bars who are trying to survive? Editor: A lot of the money introduced into the economy through stimulus checks will end up in the pockets of restaurant and bar owners.
