It is evident in driving or walking around Shamokin and Mount Carmel that there is a lot of blight. There is no denial in that. Has there been an assessment of how many and the percentage of the county upset sale properties that were purchased that would not have been brought up to code after a year from the purchase date? Is there an evaluation of future county upset sales on how to address properties being up to code? Could the upset sales be a contributing factor to blight? Everything should be on the table to address blight and all questions asked.
