School kids

My dad worked a full-time job as a miner and my mother was a full-time housewife that took care of my sick grandfather in the house that I grew up in. We never had much money, but we weren’t considered poor. My mom and dad made sure that I was fed not only a breakfast, but a lunch, every day. They understood it was their responsibility to take care of me and not depend on the government to do so. Are parents today so far out of touch with their children that they can’t feed them? Now we have schools feeding the kids breakfast and lunch and in some school districts washing the kids clothes. Why not turn the kids over completely to the school system so they can become mindless robots of the school districts? If you have kids, feed them and clothe them. It’s your responsibly as their parents — not the schools.
