The Red Tornado football program reached into its long list of former football greats to address current members of the squad at the 102nd annual Rotary Football Banquet, which will be held virtually and televised tonight at 8 p.m. on WKMC (channel No. 13).

This year’s speaker will be Bob Sacavage, a 1969 graduate of the school who began his football career for Coach Jazz Diminick and became a three-year starter mid-way through his sophomore season. Sacavage played offensive guard and linebacker and served as the team captain during his senior season. His teams were 31-3 over the course of his tenure and ended with the Eastern Conference Southern Division Championship in 1968. Following the season, Sacavage was named to the Associated Press All-State team as a guard.
