River Hawks run rampant

SU men’s basketball coach Frank Marcinek speaks with guard Matt LaCorte during a basketball game last season.

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. — Coming off their first Landmark Conference Championship and a second-round trip to the NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Championship Tournament, the Susquehanna University men’s basketball team tips-off the 2020-21 campaign ranked 16th in the country by Basketball Times in its November 2020 issue.

“We are honored to be chosen 16th in the country by Basketball Times. Based on our play last season and the number of returning players we have back, I think our team is very deserving of such a ranking,” said head coach Frank Marcinek, who is in his 32nd year at the helm. “Knowing how hard our players and staff work, I would expect us to build on last year’s Landmark Conference Championship and NCAA appearance.”
