EAST LANSING, Mich. — The Big Ten Conference has named Michigan State redshirt sophomore linebacker Cal Haladay, a 2020 Southern Columbia graduate, the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week for the second week in a row.

Haladay recorded a career-high 19 tackles, including one for a 3-yard loss, in the 27-21 victory over Rutgers this past Saturday in Spartan Stadium, the most by a Big Ten player this season. It also marked the most tackles by a Spartan since Eric Smith had 19 vs. Notre Dame in 2004.
