MIFFLINBURG — Danville quarterback K.J. Riley completed a 35-yard touchdown pass to Carson Persing on the Ironmen’s first play from scrimmage Friday at Mifflinburg, and the Ironmen went on to present new head coach Mike Brennan with a 42-0 halftime lead as high school football season finally opened.

Danville went on to a 49-7 win as Riley completed 14 of 20 passes for 266 yards and five touchdowns, all in the first half, and added a 10-yard touchdown run of his own.
