Results and fallout from Extreme Rules, a quick build for the next Saudi show that also helped boost Raw ratings and the continued momentum of AEW as it heads toward a second anniversary Dynamite special next Wednesday in Philadelphia are three of our top stories this week In This Corner.

Roman Reigns retained the Universal championship over the Demon Finn Balor in a pretty good main event last Sunday evening at the Extreme Rules pay per view. WWE champion Big E pinned Bobby Lashley to secure a win for the New Day reunion in a six-man tag over Omos, Styles and the Almighty. The Usos kept the Smackdown tag straps with a victory over the Street Profits and Damian Priest also held onto the United States title in a three-way over Sheamus and Jeff Hardy. Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair came out of the pay per view with the Smackdown and Raw women’s gold over Bianca Belair and Alexa Bliss. Sheamus and Bliss are reportedly going to be out of action for a while with scheduled surgeries.
