FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP — There are a variety of hurdles to overcome as well as learning curves any time a team in high school athletics gets a new coach.

For both Southern Columbia and Milton in field hockey, the transition was extra complicated this year. A pandemic virtually eradicated any opportunity for the new program leaders to implement much of anything that they wanted in the offseason, so it has been a continued work in progress for both squads.
