MCALISTERVILLE — Southern Columbia was the final team to qualify for the District 4 Class 1A girls soccer playoffs, and now they are the final team remaining. As the No. 8 seed, the Tigers completed their quest Saturday night in McAlisterville against East Juniata with a 4-2 victory to claim their second district gold in the last three years.

“It took everything that we had just to qualify for the playoffs, but the girls never stopped believing,” said SCA coach Derek Stine.
