After learning of the shutdown of spring sports, area baseball teams are trying to process the absence just as most people are surveying the landscape with the coronavirus pandemic.

In the case of Southern Columbia Area baseball, head coach Mike Myers said his club is trying to keep working during this delay.

I truly hope these teams are not considering getting back on the field in 2 weeks. This virus will only begin start to gain momentum in our area in the coming weeks.
