COAL TOWNSHIP — Shamokin Area started off Saturday’s boys basketball game against Lewisburg the way that they wanted to.

The Indians worked the ball inside to get some early buckets to take a 13-10 lead over the Green Dragons after the first quarter on their home court. They took care of the ball, turning it over just one time in the first six minutes of action.
